bliss balls

Amazing chocolate bliss balls! Aptly named, as these little balls of flavour are very blissful. They are fantastic as a healthy alternative to lollies for kids (and big kids). As there is no added sugar. Bliss balls are great to pop in lunch boxes or to have after dinner if you have a sweet craving. Try to restrain yourself to one or two.

 What you need: (makes 20)

1 cup pitted medjool dates/soaked dried dates

1 cup almonds or walnuts

1/4 cup raw organic cacao powder

1 tbs coconut oil

1 tbs raw cacao nibs

1tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp salt

½ cup desiccated coconut

 Method

1. Blend nuts in a food processor

2. Add dates, cacao, coconut oil, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and cacao nibs and blend.
