The Blue Mountains Chocolate Festival

An exciting new festival is coming to the Blue Mountains. During the weekend of July 3rd, 4th & 5th celebrate chocolate, with events, tastings & special menus featuring chocolate delights in a number of different venues throughout the Mountains. July is one of the coldest months in the upper Blue Mountains, where a snowfall is not unusual. Perfect weather for chocolate aficionados!

What to do

Mount Vic Flicks:

Enjoy a special movie screening of classic ‘Chocolat’ and let Johnny Depp and Juliette Binoche whisk you away to an unusual French chocolate shop. Blackheath Markets:

Head up to the charming town of Blackheath for these delightful community market to enjoy delicious chocolate treats from some of the stalls.There are also scrumptious triple chocolate brownies from the canteen and there will be a chocolate flavoured musical performance from local singer/songwriter Ash Wanders. Whisk & Pin:

In their new bakery and showroom, opening June 22nd, these local gourmet food producers will have a full product tasting, plus the opportunity to view fine chocolate making. Blue Mountains Cultural Centre:

Head over to the Cultural Centre on Saturday 4th July for a tea and chocolate workshop, a free talk and tasting with Sydney Chocolate creator and then a musical performance from a local musician.

Blue Mountains Food Co-op:

At this lovely Leura boutique you can enjoy tastings of ‘Chocolate On Purpose’, they combine delicious chocolate with native Australian Bush Food. What an exciting combination!

Carrington Hotel: ‘Moulin Chocolat’.
